چکیده
Red mud is a strong alkaline waste discharged from the process of alumina extraction, which harmful to environment and its utilization rate always low. One effective ways utilize red used as road subgrade material. In this paper, industrial wastes including mud, fly ash, slag, desulfurized gypsum are basic raw materials prepare filling materials. A series laboratory tests, such compaction test, California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test (soaked non-soaked conditions) permeability carried out. The physical mechanical properties, maximum dry density, optimum moisture content, CBR value, expansion, coefficient soaked strength loss rate, mixtures with different proportions, were studied. results can provide reference for selection best proportion scheme promote in engineering.

Utilization of Soil Stabilization with Cement and Copper Slag as Subgrade Materials in Road Embankment Construction
In this study, unconfined compression tests have been conducted to investigate the impacts of copper slag on mechanical characteristics for stabilized cement and un-stabilized soil. Dozens of specimens were prepared at four percentages of cement (i.e. 0%, 2%, 4% and 6%) and five percentages of copper slag (i.e. 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) by weight of dry soil. The samples compacted into a cylind...
متن کاملconstruction wastes as raw materials for geopolymer binders
it has been shown that geopolymerization can transform a wide range of waste aluminosilicate materials into building materials with excellent chemical and physical properties such as fire and acid resistance. in this research work, geopolymerization of construction waste materials with different alkali-activators based on combinations of na2sio3 and naoh has been investigated. a number of syste...
متن کاملProduction geopolymer materials by coal fly ash
Coal ash is the main waste from power plant. It is estimated that the consumption of the coal for power plant will increase to 240 million tons each year and the coal ash wastes will produce more than 2 million tons per year. Although the utilization of coal fly ash can be reached 74.1%, large amount of coal fly ash and bottom ash still cannot be utilized. The purpose of this research is to dev...
